A Thousand Meters of Dignity
Custom
Every day, on my way to work, I pass by the same faces — people living on the streets, never more than a thousand meters from where I live and work. One day, I decided to stop, listen, and photograph them.
Though their circumstances appear the same, the paths that led them here are as different as their faces. Each story carries pain, resilience, and a quiet strength. What unites them is not their hardship, but their dignity — something that often goes unseen in the rush of daily life.
Through these portraits, I hope to reveal that dignity, and to remind us that humanity exists in every glance, every wrinkle, every silence.
